Found mine! The ones on my street must be from a few years ago. There are several missing buildings, and lots of the storefronts have changed over.

Heh, katherineg, I not only remember Bright Food Shop, but the original diner that predated it (and whose sign they left up). I grew up on that block, and my folks still live there.

Maybe it's because I live in Boringville, USA. Although, this does inspire me to document the corners of my little hamlet. Hmmm... let's see... do I have enough on my plate yet? Well I'll write it in my "photo ideas" journal anyway, and see what happens!

At first I thought "Oh, he's using the 11,000 corners as a tease, he's just going to do some arty selection and call it a day... Wait, no, he's doing all of them." Then I thought "Well, he'll just take one shot for each intersection; I hope he picks the most interesting... Wait, no, he's doing all the corners for every intersection. Sonofabitch, this is great!"

The only complaint I have is that it's making me all nostalgic for the city I left. Thanks for the post!

Vacapinta, is that the same as Broadway & West Houston? (Down near NYU). If so, scroll down to the list of galleries and you'll find Broadway Part One, from Battery Place to 96th Street. That gives you 485 corners on Broadway heading North. Scroll through the thumbnails on the left until you get to number 117. Houston is 117 - 120. (Four corners, strangely enough).

Vacapinta, is that the same as Broadway & West Houston?

Broadway and West Broadway are two different streets which run parallel to each other. This causes endless tourist confusion.
