Scrubs was such a great show. Got a bit uneven in later seasons but there were still great eps and storylines. JD/Turk is like what happened when Cory and Shawn grew up. And uh, one of them became black.

The music was always a big part of the show too. Besides Ted's band, Colin Hay (of Men at Work) had a few memorable appearances. 1 2

Oh man, barbershop.

Those guys make it look easy, but it is really, really, really hard to sing 4-part harmony like that a capella. I'm in a barbershop chorus - 4 parts, at least 4 guys per part - and even with a bunch of people to lean on it's still not Just Singing.

It's kind of sad to me to see That Noble Craft reduced to comedy.

They don't make it look that easy.

Man, I didn't want to be that guy, but a whole lot of the time, someone sounds off-pitch. Are they just using really strange harmonies, or what?

Truly, Truly, madly, deeply, horrible and can't be unheard.

Yeah, I was that guy too, but didn't want to be the *first* that guy. I stopped it after a minute or so, the pitch was off and simply infuriating.

On the plus side, "The Sing Off" is coming back to NBC starting next Monday, so hooray! Now if you'll excuse me, I have several years of back-catalog "Best of Collegiate A Cappella" to go order on DVD...

They obviously need their lead singer Phil to come back.

I've been in Barbershop choirs, and there was nothing Noble about it. Barbershop is about entertainment, pure and simple. There's always been comedy in it.
