Abel's Autobiography This is an excerpt from my Icelandic novel Móðurhugur, translated by Larissa Kyzer, and published in the tenth annual Queer issue of Words Without Borders. The excerpt tells the story of a young trans man at the University of Colorado Boulder who becomes embroiled in a love triangle. More about this issues's other stories and poetry below the cut.

Entropic Nature is a set of four of my poems translated from Icelandic into English by Larissa Kyzer. It's published by Exchanges, University of Iowa's online journal of literary translation, as part of their fall 2017 issue, Traces. The poems are in a very strict form of my own devising where each poem is four verses, each verse four lines, and each line broken up into clusters of four letters, and the English translation replicates the form.

A chapter from my novel translated into English I translated a chapter from my Icelandic language novel (coming out this May in Iceland) and Vox Humana, an Israeli-Canadian literary webzine focusing on Israel and Palestine, posted it. The chapter is one Icelander telling another about visiting Palestine. I altered it slightly to make it stand better on its own.

For a New Green Society I was asked to provide a manifesto for an online collection of manifestos. Some are serious, some are clearly satiric and some I can't tell where they fall on the spectrum. There are 13 essays and the one I wrote is called Art is Waste: Recycle It! The site went live today. As I understand it the site is supposed to go down at the end of the month.

365 Poems, 365 Days. Does what it says on the tin. I will write and post 365 poems in the span of this calendar year. Other people were also supposed to do so also but so far they haven't been keeping up. I've been doing it for 13 days and have got 13 poems up so far.
