Yeah, if giant space spiders ain't your thing, you might want to nope out of this one.

I just finished watching this and...It was good? It was terrible? I liked it? I think?

It was really good in parts, and breathtakingly bad in parts. I'll be curious to see what others think.

I don’t think I have ever been so literally slack-jawed at the end of a show. Amazing.

I think I get Sally’s break at the end, it’s when the agent refers to her as the “untitled vagina woman” instead of the entitled cunt girl. It’s like, she hates being recognized as that, and even more, the asshole can’t even get that right. Paul T. Goldman: Full Series

I heard about this when Jason Woliner was on The Daily Zeitgeist last week. I watched it in one sitting and loved it. At one point I seriously wondered if the entire show was a contrivance, cut from whole cloth. I found Paul utterly unlikable from the start, completely naive yet so self-absorbed and blinded by his own convictions that he couldn't believe anything otherwise until incontrovertible evidence was shoved into his face. Movie: White Noise

I thought the movie was lol-funny. I read the book a few times, but so long ago that I hardly remember anything except for the broad plot outline. It had the feeling of a near scene-for-scene adaptation (if not line-by-byline). It took me a minute to realize it was a comedy, but once I caught the vibe I had a great time. Adam Driver was fantastic; it was like watching Chevy Chase and Jeff Goldblum play the same role simultaneously.

Special Event: Blaseball Season 8

I bet 300 coins on two of the games when the odds had both teams with 0% chance of winning, and won 2700 on each. I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to bet my max. Funny feelings about fake money, I guess.

All those bets paid out 8.995 to 1. I played 1000c across the board and was pleasantly surprised with the tidy sum I acquired. I already have ~150,000c after a day and a half.

So is the Snackrifice the same thing as the Tacos getting shelled? I'm a Tacos booster and can't figure it out.

I’m lazy. Last season I bet the over-under on every game. My win/loss is usually 6/4 or 5/5, sometimes 7/3 and occasionally 4/6. I was able to amass enough coins to max out all my pendants, snake oil, etc. Now I’m just trying to stockpile as many coins as possible. It’s a bit perfunctory but keeps me interested. I plan on cashing all in for votes after the playoffs, my goal is 1000+. From there I will try to coordinate with my fellow Tacos or just try to create more chaos. Because 2020.

Letterkenny: Season 8

A friend suggested watching Letterkenny with the subtitles on. It's an entirely different show, especially the high speed pun riffs. I find it hilarious in itself the idea of using subtitles to watch a Canadian show.

The X-Files: My Struggle

All the disdain for this episode, and for the larger mytharc, amuses and surprises me. It's pretty much my favorite part of the whole series, and I've been watching the original again on Netflix. That being said, I really enjoyed S10E1, but my threshold is pretty low. I did find a few things a bit incongruous, like Scully watching Quad Mind in post op while still blood splattered.
