Oh neat. I think I'm probably squarely in the "this book would bounce off me" camp, but the more general notion of some group accountability and art stuff and small healthy doses of grousing is nice and I'd be up for just hanging out and being a bit of a tourist.

Camping at Trillium Lake

Me and Secretariat are gonna have to bail on for-reals camping after all, it's turned out; just too much other stuff going on to feel practical this weekend. If it's workable we might be able to zip out for a day trip on Saturday to hang out for a while, though. We're happy to send along the canopy with someone else though if y'all want to use it.

I think both offers are very nice and have possibilities; my suggestion is we settle on Rune & Board, for having the advantage in size and facilities if we get a decent crowd going. Nick, lemme know if there's anything it'd be useful to chat about planning-wise etc.

Yeah! I'll plan to make sure there's some non-alcoholic fizzy stuff available at the meetup and e.g. chips and such for light snacking. Bringing your own nosh is also totally fine I think.

I'm not sure there's anything that's gonna accommodate everybody's schedule but it sounds like several of y'all are available Thursday pre-event, so I'm gonna propose we pin it down like so: Let's meet up at Ex Novo Brewing, which is a half-mile or so north of the Memorial Coliseum, starting at 3pm, which is when they open.
