Japan Zoom Sunday, 12/27 8ish?
I keep meaning to propose another one of these, and it’d be a nice to hang out and chat and what have you again, possibly with a side of Among Us if anyone is up for it.

Japan Online Meetup NUMBER THREE!!!
Hey all. I don't know if you noticed this, but we're in uncharted territory here. If you look at the sidebar, it has a list of "most active cities" for meetups, and we're essentially in second place (a couple cities have had four, sure), and if we have another meetup this Sunday, boom, we'll be one of the most active cities/amorphous regional groupings in all of Metafilterland! Can't you just feel those competitive juices flowing, urging you on to meet once again on Sunday night at 8 for some light chat, witty observations, and hilarious jokes?

Tokyo Meet Up for ovenmitt
Mefite ovenmitt is going to be in Tokyo pretty soon, and mentioned she'd like to stop by my new shop in Omotesando. I've seen a good number of Tokyo Mefites in the last two weeks, but pretty much just one at a time. Maybe we can get together and have a proper meet up? We were mailing back and forth, and Tuesday, April 14th seemed to work best.
BBQ in Chiba (it's not *that* far)
The BBQ is nigh, folks. This Saturday at my place in Inage. I know it's a jaunt for a lot of you, but I'll do my best to make sure it's worth your while.
Drinks, anyone?
Hoyland is still coming to town, but there wasn't a sudden upswell of people for the BBQ idea, so that's pretty much dead now. Flapjax has suggested Koenji, but that's a bit far for me, personally (although I'm sure it'll be an awesome show). Other than that, I don't know. There's various and sundry drinking establishments in Tokyo, and as mentioned, I'm partial to Yurakucho area, though reservations might be a good idea on a Saturday night. Any ideas?
