Huh! Interesting idea for an app. The bass is pretty convincing! I'm not nuts about how randomly the drums are assigned but it's impressive technology nonetheless. Would love to just hear a raw, drum-less/bass-less acoustic track, the song is well-written & would stand on its own just fine, I suspect!

She was not a super close friend, but someone who I went to school with years ago. Every once in a while we would run into each other at the pub and have a beer together. Hadn't seen her in a while but I just got word she was killed in a car crash. Seconded! Just gorgeous. Very groovy and very jangly at the same time. Reminds me of Johnny Clegg a little bit, with that fusion of Brit-pop jangle w/ groovy 12/8 African-style vibes.

Twitter Band was an informal jam band that some friends and I (incl. aegispolis!) put together in Victoria last year. Everyone in the band was a twitter user, hence the name. We never released anything (it only lasted a couple months) but there are a few demos like this one that we used for rehearsals. There is also a short demo EP that I made with our drummer afterwards as a side project.

All I did was tune my high E down a whole step, and used a capo on 7th fret or somewhere like that. High capo plus drop-high-E is a great combo!

This is excellent. I wish there were a bit more low bass, but maybe that's just me.

You're definitely right about that. I did some pretty bold EQ-ing on the master track before rendering, but I should have checked out the mastering on a couple sets of speakers rather than just mixing for my headphones.
