Calgary pre-winter outdoor meetup
Hey everyone,
Reviving this thread as it kind of stalled out last month or so. Just wondering who might be interested in an IRL meetup, while it's still warm enough to do an outdoor/backyard/patio type thing. I'd be very happy to host a backyard BBQ at my place, but now that patios are open again, I'm open to suggestions as well.

Just wondering who would be interested in a meetup sometime before the season turns. We could have a (safe*) BBQ at my place or do an online meetup, I'm up for whatever.
*If we do decided to go full IRL, we can figure out some agreed-upon safety measures in the thread.

Trivia!
Trivia at Cat and Fiddle!
This is our first trivia hang as a MeFi IRL posse, but I suspect it is gonna be a hoot. Seattle and Portland seem to do IRL trivia events all the time, so Calgary might as well put ourselves on the map as far as that's concerned.
Trivia allegedly starts at 7:30pm; let's plan for a 7pm(ish) meetup! As always, this thread is available on the Day Of, if you're the first person to arrive or if are trying to find the rest of us :)

I know we were talking about doing a meetup once the weather got a bit nicer; well, that time has come, but it also occurred to me that July 14th is going to be MeFi's 20th birthday! So maybe we ought to do something that day to mark the occasion? Lemme know what you think!

The time has come for a YYC MeFI patio session! As long as it doesn't rain, of course.
We'll use Oak Tree as our rally point and take it from there. Happy to head elsewhere (or not) in the event of rain or whatever.

Calgary Christmas MeFiMeet - belated take 2
Hi gang,
Hope the holidays were good for all! Our last proposed meetup ending up falling through as it was difficult to pin down a night when everyone was around - thought I would attempt a 2nd kick at the can and see if we can do a winter gathering of sorts.
How does Friday, Feb 10 sound? Just for the sake of lobbing a 1st suggestion into the pool.
